Years 1 and 2

Welcome to Years 1 and 2

Year 1 / 2 classroom is sunny and bright with a happy, relaxed atmosphere. A place where each pupil is encouraged to work to the best of their ability in everything they do. Dedicated teachers Mrs Debbie Michaela, Mrs Lydia Michaela and Mrs Lottie Harris each bring a unique flavour and enthusiasm to the subjects they teach, whilst working together to produce a cohesive curriculum. Mrs Caroline Cawte is our multi-tasking Teaching Assistant. The focus is on providing a safe, secure and happy environment in which opportunities are provided that support, help and develop social skills, self-confidence and a love of learning.

Shoe Box Appeal 2018

Shoe Box Appeal 2018 1 Our boxes were sent to Liberia!

Class and 2 have really entered into the spirit of giving with the challenge of filling a shoe box with gifts to send to a child in need. We considered what it would be like to have no gifts at Christmas and why each item was on the suggested shopping list. The children generously brought in items and carefully chose items to fill their box. They made cards to include which said that the box came with our love. The result was a pile of colourful boxes brimming with gifts ready to send on their journey with Samaritan’s Purse. Thank you to everyone who donated items.
