Secondary English Teacher: Full Time or Part Time

We encourage all young people to discover their God‑given potential and live life in all its fullness. Our Christian vision places relationships, creativity, and personal growth at the centre of school life, creating a community where pupils are genuinely known, encouraged, and valued. As we continue to grow and strengthen our secondary provision, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate English teacher to join our vibrant, faith‑rooted community and play a meaningful role in the lives of our Year 7–11 pupils.

EYFS Nursery Teacher - Level 3 Full Time or Part Time

£13 40ph

FULL TIME (Part Time Considered) - Term Time to include some Wrap Around Care.

We are seeking a loving, creative and committed EYFS Nursery Teacher to join our Brook Nursery team, offering children the very best possible start to their learning journey. Set within eight acres of beautiful grounds, including Forest School provision, this role provides a rare opportunity to teach and nurture young children in a calm, joy‑filled environment where play, curiosity and relationships are deeply valued.

This role is ideal for an Early Years practitioner who delights in getting alongside children, noticing who they are becoming as well as what they are learning. You will plan and deliver high‑quality EYFS provision, act as a Key Person, and help children grow in confidence, independence and love of learning — both indoors and outdoors. Rooted in a strong Christian ethos, Brook Nursery is a place where children are known, safe and celebrated, and where staff are supported to work with care, creativity and purpose.

Trustee

Email our Chair of Trustees, Kathryn Badger, for more information at: KBadger@riverschool.co.uk

We are currently expanding our trustee board to include a wider range of professional expertise, from a broader cross-section of Worcestershire’s Christian community.

Suitable trustees will have a passion for Christian education, a commitment to prayer, availability to attend monthly trustee meetings and time to offer hands-on support to staff in line with their area of responsibility.

We are specifically seeking fresh perspectives from people with no previous or current connections to the school.

Volunteer Gardener and Bee Keeper

We have 7 bee hives on site, and are passionate about caring for these precious members of our British eco-system. Very sadly, like many bees in Worcester, all our bees died earlier this month. We have replaced 3 colonies, and are currently fundraising for more, much to the excitement of our Year 5 and 6 pupils who help us care for the bees.

In addition, God has gifted us such a peaceful and beautiful 8 acre site to enjoy and care for. The site used to be a horticultural college and has extensive borders, a walled garden, a nature pond, an orchard and a gem of a forest school.

Our volunteer team do a great job keeping the site so beautifully, but there is always more to do, including re-imagining some areas of the gardens

All volunteers are subject to safer recruitment checks and undertake safeguarding training. However, volunteer invigilators are also required to complete specific invigilator training.

Please note we are only able to take on Volunteers who are over the age of 18.
