The River School offers quality Christian education to children aged 2 to 16. Starting in the Brook Nursery children then have the opportunity to join Reception Class and stay with us until they complete their GCSE’s at 16. All on one site we provide a welcoming family atmosphere with multiple generations now passing through the school.

The Open Morning will include a tour of the school, an introduction from Mrs Ellin our Headteacher, or another member of the Senior Leadership Team and plenty of opportunity for questions.

Tours commence at 13:30pm, booking is required and can be done by clicking the button below nor calling the School Office.

All friends of The River School are warmly invited to join us, to eat together at the start of the new school year. This meal marks 40 years since The River School opened and is a chance to look forward to the future together.

Food and drinks are included in the price of your ticket.

Adults can either buy a standard ticket or a ticket + donation to the School.

Families; The first child (aged 5-16) requires a ticket, any subsequent children within the same family must be booked as an add-on, these children can eat for free.

We will be hosting a prayer gathering for Christians from across the city and beyond, to pray for the children and young people in our wider communities. Please do join us, and please spread the word - this is an open invitation to friends, family, and others in your churches and beyond. No flyer, no frills, just coming together to pray to God for the flourishing of young people.

To those of you who would not identify as Christian, or are not used to praying, you are very welcome to come too - to try praying for the first time, or just to listen in. We would love you to feel included in this important part of our community life.

Don't have young children? You are still more than welcome to come and relax in our beautiful grounds, grab a bite to eat and take in the fun (and hopefully the sun!). Friends of The River School are invited to join us.

1 Day Certified Emergency First Aid training course taking place at The River School, Worcester.

Covered on the day will be:

• Adult, child and baby basic life support

• Choking adult, child and baby

• Unconsciousness

• Minor injuries

• Recovery position

• Burns

Thanks to a positive response from our first course we have scheduled another and hope to run these fairly frequently.

This course is for Parents/Carers/Grandparents to give an awareness of how to deal with some First Aid Scenarios.

The course will include CPR training and other useful information to use in an emergency.

The cost is £20 per person.

This is an awareness course, non-certificated. However, if you are interested in gaining a formal First Aid Certificate, please sign up to one of our other courses.
